Wellness is about more than physical health. It’s about social engagement and finding purpose. At Lawrence Presbyterian Manor, the way you want to live is more than a tagline; it is a culture built on a method of delivering a wealth of lifestyle amenities and services based on our residents’ personal choices and preferences—and that promote all aspects of wellness: physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual and more.

When you start wondering if it's time to downsize, or thinking about having fewer household chores, it may be time to consider an independent living community. The ideal time is before you need extra help but when you're ready to give up mowing the lawn, making house repairs. You may want to get to know your neighbors, gain a sense of community, or desire to spend more time doing fun activities. When you want peace of mind for the future, while you're still active enough to enjoy the lifestyle benefits, you should consider moving into an independent living community. Make the choice yourself, not when someone has to make it for you. Residents in independent living have priority access to the continuum of care at Lawrence Presbyterian Manor, so they can move into assisted living, health care or rehab as needs change.
Our community offers two options. You can choose a plan with monthly accommodation fees and no up-front fees or non-refundable deposits. This plan simply requires a 30-day notice to vacate the apartment. Or, you can choose our 75/25 deposit for care plan in which you pay a deposit (cost depends on style of apartment) at the time of your move. It is designed to allow for 75% of this fee to be refunded to you or your estate when you leave the community and the residence becomes occupies. The 25% nonrefundable portion remains with the community to further its mission to provide quality services to residents. Contact Us for more information about the monthly accommodation fee plan, the 75/25 plan and to determine which suits your financial situation best. Rates and monthly fees are subject to periodic review.
The Townhomes each have attached garages. The independent living apartments have assigned covered parking spaces available at no additional expense for one space per apartment, first come first serve.
Yes! We allow one dog, one cat of 20 pounds of less, two birds or fish per residence. All dogs & cats must be housebroken & well mannered. A $500 non-refundable pet fee applies.
