Our Leadership Team

The day-to-day operation of Lawrence Presbyterian Manor is led by a leadership team of dedicated professionals who bring a wealth of experience and specialized expertise to their positions. As employees of Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America, our promise to you is to live our mission by:

Christie Patrick, Executive Director

Christie joined Lawrence Presbyterian Manor in July 2015 as executive director. Patrick is no stranger to Presbyterian Manor. She has served in a variety of roles at the Topeka campus since 1998, most recently as Health Services Administrator. She holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration from Baker University. She completed her Administrator in Training with Kansas Adult Care Executives and is a licensed Adult Care Home Administrator in Kansas. Christie’s previous positions at the manor include certified nurse assistant, certified medication aide, medical records assistant and business administrator. Christie was a fellow in the 2014 LeadingAge Kansas Center for Leadership program and a member of Kansas Adult Care Homes Executives.


Angela Fonseca, Marketing & Administrative Services Director

Angela, a long-time Lawrence resident, has been at Lawrence Presbyterian Manor since July 2006. She studied journalism with an emphasis in marketing and advertising at the University of Kansas. She was named marketing and administrative services director in 2014.


Amy Gabrielson, Assisted Living Director

Amy joined Presbyterian manor in July 2006. She’s been an LPN and charge nurse in the health care center, health services director, assistant health services director and assisted living and home health director. She has a bachelor of science degree from Baker University. She received her LPN in 2004 from Kaw Area Technical College and her RN from Johnson County Community College in 2012.


Linda Fyler, Activity Director

Linda joined Lawrence Presbyterian Manor in September 1994. Linda holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from the University of Kansas. She previously taught middle school English and history.


Patrick Ludwig, Dining Services Director

Patrick joined Lawrence Presbyterian Manor in June 1999. He served as the assistant food service director until assuming the role in 2010 as dining services director. He is a certified food service manager.


Dorothy Scholtz, Chaplain

"Dottie” has served Lawrence Presbyterian Manor residents since July 2010. She holds a bachelor of English literature degree from Fordham University and a master of divinity degree from Andover Newton Theological School. Before joining LPM, she served as senior pastor at First Baptist Church in Marysville, Kansas. She also has experience teaching toddlers in the Head Start program. Dottie has completed one unit of clinical pastoral education at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.


Kevin House, Director of Environmental Services

Kevin joined Lawrence Presbyterian Manor in 2011 as a maintenance technician. He assumed the role of Director of Environmental Services in 2014. Kevin now oversees all of the Manor’s maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry operations. Before he joined the Manor staff, Kevin worked in the maintenance field around the Lawrence area for about 10 years. Prior to that, he worked as a general contractor; his projects included building timber frame houses in Oregon.


Amy Gilchrist, Social Services Director

Amy joined Lawrence Presbyterian Manor in November 2015 as social services director. She most recently worked in social services with hospice in the Kansas City and Topeka area. She has a bachelor’s degree in social work from Kansas State University and a masters of social work from Washburn University. She is a licensed Masters Social Worker by the Behavior Sciences Regulatory Board. Amy enjoys spending time with family and is active in Lawrence and Topeka community theater.
