We are a faith-based, not-for-profit senior living community dedicated to serving our residents with a culture inspired by our Christian values. As a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), also called a Life Plan Community, Lawrence Presbyterian Manor offers independent living, assisted living, long-term care, skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation (PATH®) and respite care—all in an active community with plenty of choices for what to do and how to live.
When you are ready to consider moving to a senior living community, you should choose a community that is proven, trusted, guided by strong character, and backed by one of the most highly regarded senior living organizations in the industry.
A move to our campus allows you to pursue life the way you want to live and the security of knowing we offer the services you may need in the future. Our campus is home to residents who represent the rich diversity of Lawrence, Kansas. Among our 150 residents are retired farmers, musicians, writers, artists, business people, teachers and homemakers. Ties with the University of Kansas are strong, with many Jayhawks—former professors, dieticians, administrators, teachers, lawyers, nurses, doctors, business owners, entrepreneurs and more—now calling Lawrence Presbyterian Manor home.
To satisfy the unique and varied tastes of this eclectic group, we maintain a full calendar of resident-focused activities throughout the year, both on and off campus. The prestigious Jayhawk Club golf course is less than a half mile away, and scenic Clinton Lake is just minutes away. The Lawrence area offers plentiful cultural, educational and entertainment options and some of the state’s loveliest landscapes. Deer and other wildlife are often spotted on our campus and in the yards of our townhomes.
