Christie joined Lawrence Presbyterian Manor in July 2015 as executive director. No stranger to Presbyterian Manor, Christie has served in a variety of roles at the Topeka campus since 1998, most recently as Health Services Administrator. She holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration from Baker University. She completed her Administrator in Training with Kansas Adult Care Executives and is a licensed Adult Care Home Administrator in Kansas. Christie’s previous positions at Presbyterian Manor include certified nurse assistant, certified medication aide, medical records assistant and business administrator. She was a fellow in the 2014 LeadingAge Kansas Center for Leadership program and a member of Kansas Adult Care Homes Executives.
Marketing & Sales Director
Curtis joined Presbyterian Manor in January. He brings more than four years of experience as a senior living community administrator. He started in senior living in 2009 after working in the banking industry for 15 years in marketing, retail development and customer service. He has a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Northwest Missouri State University and holds a Missouri Residential Care/Assisted Living Administrator license. He is an active volunteer in his local church with both the garden club and youth group.
Health Care Marketing Director
Angela, a long-time Lawrence resident, has been at Lawrence Presbyterian Manor since July 2006. She studied journalism with an emphasis in marketing and advertising at the University of Kansas. She has served as administrative services and accounting director as well as marketing director before moving into the health care marketing director position in January of 2019.
Director of Nursing
Michelle joined the Presbyterian Manor team in June 2018 and was named director of nursing in September 2018. She previously worked in the emergency room at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita for 10 years and at Wesley Rehabilitation Hospital for two years as a charge nurse. She has an associate’s degree in applied arts and sciences from Hesston College.
Assisted Living Director
Since joining Presbyterian Manor in 2006, Amy has served as an LPN and charge nurse in the health care center, assistant health services director, health services director, and Assisted Living and home health director. She has a Bachelor of Science from Baker University. She received her LPN in 2004 from Kaw Area Technical College and her RN from Johnson County Community College in 2012.
Linda has been with Lawrence Presbyterian Manor since September 1994. Linda holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from the University of Kansas, and she previously taught middle school English and history.
Dining Services Director
Patrick joined Lawrence Presbyterian Manor in June 1999 as the assistant food service director. In 2010, he became the dining services director. He is a certified food service manager.
"Dottie” has served Lawrence Presbyterian Manor residents since July 2010. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Fordham University and a Master of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School. Before joining Lawrence Presbyterian Manor, she served as senior pastor at First Baptist Church in Marysville, Kansas. She also has experience teaching toddlers in the Head Start program. Dottie has completed one unit of clinical pastoral education at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Social Services Director
Amy joined Lawrence Presbyterian Manor in November 2015 as social services director. She most recently worked in hospice in the Kansas City and Topeka areas. She has a bachelor’s degree in social work from Kansas State University and a master’s in social work from Washburn University.
Director of Environmental Services
Kevin joined Lawrence Presbyterian Manor in 2011 as a maintenance technician and assumed the role of director of environmental services in 2014. He now oversees all of Presbyterian Manor’s maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry operations. Before joining our team, Kevin worked in the maintenance field around the Lawrence area for about 10 years. Prior to that, he worked as a general contractor, and his projects included building timber frame houses in Oregon.
