Art is Ageless® call for entries

Time is quickly running out if you want to enter your works of art in our annual Art is Ageless® exhibit and competition.

Lawrence Presbyterian Manor is seeking artists for the annual Art is Ageless® juried exhibit March 11 – 18, 2024.

Entries of artistic works will be accepted from any area artist who is 65 years of age or over to exhibit and/or compete for an opportunity to be featured in the 2025 Art is Ageless calendar. Entries are due to Lawrence Presbyterian Manor, 1429 Kasold Dr., by 5 p.m. March 6.

The juried exhibit will be held March 11-18 at the community.

“It’s exciting to see what our artists enter every year,” said Chris Phelps, senior living sales specialist. “We’re always impressed by the beautiful works of art but most of all, we appreciate the positive impact artistic expression has on seniors’ lives.”

Local competition winners will join winners from 14 other PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America®) senior living communities to be judged at the systemwide level. Winning entries may be featured in the calendar. Artists may also choose to enter works for exhibit only.

The Art is Ageless® program encourages Presbyterian Manor residents and other area seniors to express their creativity through its art annual competition.

For entry forms and more information, contact Chris Phelps at 785-841-4262 or cphelps@pmma.org, or visit ArtIsAgeless.org.
