Scammers are using all kinds of technology -- email, text, phone apps, messaging boards -- to get your personal information. In this COVID world, more people are relying on technology to stay in touch with friends, family and even their medical care providers.

In this virtual event sponsored by Lawrence Presbyterian Manor, David Greenbaum (a.k.a. Dr. Dave) will provide insight and guidance on ways to avoid being taken in by technology scams. Dr. Dave will provide insight on how to protect yourself and your identity.

Dr. Dave, owner of DoctorDave Computer Repair in Lawrence, has been providing his computer support and internet technology (IT) services since 1980 to individuals and businesses in the Lawrence area. He provides in-home support and repair for local residents and businesses.

Computer Security and Scam Prevention in a COVID World is part of Presbyterian Manor's Just Ask lifelong learning series of events focused on topics of interest to seniors and their adult children.
